We're thinking about things to do with the site next year, and wondering if our fans would be interested in an otaku dating column. It would be written by someone who is married and qualified to give real advice.

Would you be interested in reading, showing your friends, etc? Kinda cool, very cool, or lame?

Thanks.

I'd read it, even though I don't need it... Hell, if I was good enough at it, I'd offer to write it.

XD im just EXTREAMLY shy, like to a point you would think i'm the main character of a romance anime or something >.< serously, there was this girl i liked (recently) but i just couldn't bring myself to tell her for some reason :S, i've been told before that it's not that bad to get rejected and such and i understand that but still something holds me back >.< tis a very annoying problem XD but im used to it, i'll get over it one way or another ^.^

Try approaching it from a friend perspective instead of a romantic one, but don't build it up to the point where you think you'd get auto-friend zoned, and once you're more confident around that person as a friend, maybe then you'll be able to suggest a more romantic side to your relationship.

XD belive it or not, thats exactly what i did, i got to the point where i could walk with her home (most of the way, we split at our subway stops) from school, but from there i froze, i kicked myself in the butt for so long cuz of that ^.^", for the record, i haven't seen her since the new chool year started, hence all the past tense

Oh such a fun topic in the world of anime and nerds. I would love to help write this, but it sounds like you guys have everything down and such. I would totally give this to my fellow anime nerd friends at school though. Here's a random question: Is it usually nerd guys who freak out with this dating stuff? Quite frankly, us nerd girls are just happy to have someone like us. (At least in my perception)
