though it was painful max let the strike hit, as he fel he used his hands to stabalize his position, once his legs were down he swept storm's legs with his one of his own after storm fell he quickly brought the other one up, then down again on storm's stomach "you know that enemy diversion you'r ignoring? it's their main attack, one of murphy's military laws, try and remember it, and for the record, you can actually fight lke that"

Max could see the fangs in storm's mouth as he smilid, though not as frightening as before, they still posed a menacing to him, his side hurt even more now he knew it was a bad blow but he wasn't sure if it was worth the gain "ugh man... i wounder if i can keep going all out like this..." his thought began to race and he calmed them... max certainly didn't wan't to be distracting himself as well
