Ok, so I decided to turn this into a topic. xD

Every day, for 30 days (so long as I am online) I will be posting a question that pertains to anime in general.

And you guys post your answers and talk to others about their answers.

Maybe you will discover a new favorite anime, or remember an anime long forgotten. I think it could be fun =]

I will post Day 1's question along with my initial answer. Who knows, it might change. xD

I will post Day 2's question on Wednesday, since I created this topic a bit late and I don't know how many people will get on in time to see this before tomorrow.

DAY 1


What was your very first anime? (If you can't quite remember, you can also list the anime you know was kinda like a gateway to future anime.)


I would say mine is Inuyasha.
I don't think it is my first anime. I can't remember whether it was Pokemon, Hamtaro, Sailor Moon, or Card Captors....

But Inuyasha was my "Gateway" anime. Since I saw it when I was young. I stayed up later than I was allowed and saw the episode with the human fruits. So the next day, I wanted to stay up and watch it again! But I couldn't remember what it was called. So I tried to use logic to figure it out. I was like "Well, the main guy had like... wolf ears... so maybe it's Wolf's Rain!" nope... well, I continued to search and search for this anime, on the way I discovered tons of others, and finally I found it. =] So although many people don't like Inuyasha for one reason or another, it is an anime I will always hold dear to me. ^-^

My first anime was either Pokemon or Dragonball Z, the first anime I watched where I knew it was an anime from the very beginning was probably Bleach.

XD inuyasha was definately my first, but the first anime i intently got into watchign obviously was pokemon XD i rediscovered inyasha years later when it went back on TV

inyasha will always be one of my favorites XD despite the drawn out storyline (i swear in some cases it was like a less intense version of DBZ >.>)

My first anime? hmmm that's a good question... Probably DBZ, Tenchi Muyo, Pokemon, Gundam Wing, or the Tekken movie... Tekken is a GREAT movie by the way.

DAY 2


What is your favorite Anime? (That you've seen so far.)



Today is kinda an easy question.
My favorite Anime is Ouran High School Host Club.
I have the main character as an icon, for Pete's-sake. xD
And no, I don't know who Pete is. >.>

By the way, I am going to attempt to answer all 30 days with a seperate anime. xD I think that will be a bit more challenging... But I may scrap that idea all-together later down the road.

XD yus! 1st! my absolute favorite huh? hmm.... i guess it would have to be clannad XD i respect the main character a lot and loved the story to it too XD but love hina came at a veeeeery close second, mainly because the manga got me into collecting (mangas that is) and i couldn't resist watching the anime too XD (boy i sure hope the next question isn't "whats your second most favourite anime" ;P)

I would probably say my favorite anime is like a tie between Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann and Strawberry Panic. Maybe Death Note and Code Geass as well but TTGL and SP for sure.

TTGL because well... it's freaking epic!! and SP because I just adore the characters and story.

Who is your anime crush

Honestly, I thought long and hard about this... and I couldn't really think of any character that I have a crush on, currently. So I don't have an answer for this. xD
